Then, they are going into the bedroom. There are some
COCKROACHES and LIZARDS. Next, They play FOOTBALL with the MULES and WIZARDS and WITCHES.
They find a BIG BOX in the CEMETERY. They open the box and find G H O S T S and run away !!! AH! AH!

BLUE SLUG MILK . Now they are going into the bedroom. There are DRACULA and
BATS in the room. They play FOOTBALL with the PUMPKINS . There is a
BIG COFFIN in the room. They open the coffin and find a G H O S T and start SCREAMING !!!

RED BLOOD . Now they are going into the Kitchen. There are some
BATS and SPIDERS in the room. They play FOOTBALL with the Spiders . There is a
DOOR and a CUPBOARD in the room. They open the cupboard and find a G H O S T.
They see the Ghost and get freightened and run away !
They will NEVER come back to that Castle !!!

Ponte Estaiada - O Novo Cartão Postal de Sao Paulo

Localizada ao final da Avenida Roberto Marinho (antiga Águas Espraiadas), a Ponte Estaiada liga essa avenida ao outro lado da Marginal Pinheiros e espera-se que vá desafogar o trânsito na região.
O “X” da ponte tem 138 metros de altura, com 144 cabos de aço, para “segurar” o peso do resto da ponte. É, nesse momento, a maior ponte estaiada em curva do mundo.
OBS.: como parece que dois logradouros na cidade de São Paulo não podem ter o mesmo nome, a ponte foi nomeada de Ponte Octavio Frias de Oliveira (veja quem foi o jornalista Octávio Frias). A CNN International (TV) exibirá um programa sobre o aumento nos preços de alimentos no mundo. O programa foi intitulado de “Global Food Crisis” e será apresentado nos dias 25, 26 e 27/4/2008, nos seguintes horários:

[1] OK friends, I know - I’m on a roll. But you know how it is, you find yourself obsessed with something and you want more and more. Well, in researching the use of [2] cloned animals in food product piece for you, it really all started with my viewing of [3] "King Korn" and my need to know more about subsidized farming and our food system.
King Korn is an excellent documentary — funny and informative — about 2 college buddies, [4] Ian Cheney and Curt Ellis, who set out for a typical cross country trip. But when they got to the Midwest realized that all the corn in those vast fields was not sweet corn but the beginnings of highly [5] processed food. These guys decided to move out there and, well — start farming!
With the help of locals and genetically altered seed, these guys see first hand how subsidized farming works and raised questions about how and what Americans eat. You can check out the trailer and the directors on [6] YouTube. Also interesting is a farmer’s reaction to the documentary on [7] YouTube as well. Bottom line, this movie made me more aware to the amount of high-fructose corn syrup that is in virtually every processed food out there and [8] high-fructose corn syrups’ link to obesity and Type II diabetes.
All we can do is read our food labels and try eliminating this stuff from our diets.

Métodos Caseiros contra a Dengue

Em resposta à consulta de uma pessoa que mora ao lado de uma obra abandonada onde a água se acumula em recipientes de concreto, a professora Hermione Bicudo, da Unesp de São José do Rio Preto (SP), que pesquisa o Aedes aegypti, o mosquito transmissor da Dengue sugere pôr cloro de piscina na água acumulada, renovando-o semanalmente. A quantidade depende de quanta água se acumula nos recipientes.
“Inseticidas só devem ser usados em situações especiais, porque além de os mosquitos escaparem facilmente de seu efeito, cresce cada vez mais a sua resistência.” A melhor solução é eliminar focos de água parada. Outros métodos de baixo custo usam produtos alternativos, como borra de café, sal fino de cozinha e água sanitária. “O pó que resta no coador e que é jogado fora, numa proporção de 4 colheres de sopa cheias para 1 copo de água, mata as larvas entre 24 e 48 horas. Deve-se, porém, acrescentar nova borra a cada sete dias.” Quanto ao sal fino, usa-se 1 colher de sopa para 1 copo de água e, para a água sanitária, a proporção é de 1 colher de sopa para 5 litros de água. As soluções são aplicadas em criadouros de difícil eliminação, como ralos. www.ibilce.unesp.br/dengue
